APPEAL FOR SPONSORSHIP FOR THE 2017 WEEK FOR THE POOR
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul would be organizing her annual week for the poor from 25th September – 1st October, 2017 with the theme “IN DESPAIR, BE THE HOPE FOR THE POOR”. This event is one of our several programmes for responding to the yearnings of the poor and less privilege. It also gives us the opportunity to raise awareness to the public on the need to support the poor and needy.
As our invaluable benefactor, we passionately solicit your support in cash or kind so as to enable us to effectively achieve our plans and targets for the week. We are hopeful that your contribution would go a long way in making this year’s event a great success.
Your donations can be made in cash, cheques or bank drafts. Donations in cheques or bank drafts should be written in favour of SOCIETY OF ST VINCENT DE PAUL (indicating “Week for the Poor” at the back of the cheque or bank draft). Cash and material donations can be made at the St Vincent de Paul Office or the Parish Office.
Account N0 : 6060147892
Bank : Fidelity Bank Plc
Account Name: Society of St. Vincent De Paul.
We look forward to your kind donations and would be available to receive it whenever you call upon us. With the words of our Lord in Proverbs 11:24 (Givers never lack); It is our prayer that as you donate generously to support the poor and less privilege, the Almighty God shall replenish your pockets in multiple folds and bless you abundantly through Christ our Lord. Amen. (Attached to this letter is the week’s program of events, ).
Thank you for your anticipated support.
Yours in Christ
