The Power of Giving

Giving:

Our giving is a reminder of the blessings God has given us through Jesus Christ. We find in John 3:1 the pure Love of God which should be the foundation of our giving.

The Power of Giving:

By giving you can heal faster emotionally and physically. There’s also a selfish element in giving, when we give we make people happy, then become happier.

  • Giving make you happy
  • Giving promotes social connections.
  • Giving evokes gratitude.

Spiritual Aspect of Giving

This kind of redemption work means helping people with their needs.

It simply means:

  • Befriend the needy and the weak.
  • Alleviating sufferings.
  • Righting the wrongs.
  • Defending the truth.

Provision of Justice and Help to the poor ushers in God’s Blessings.

Giving Justice, Kindness and Help to the poor and needy are some secret ways of attracting God’s blessings to ourselves; Jer. 22:16. King Josiah, though he had plenty to eat and drink, he gave Justice and help to the poor and needy and everything went well for him: now that is what it means to know God.

Psalm 41:1 declares how Joyful are those who are kind to the poor. For the Lord rescues them when they are in trouble. Divine protection is also one of the benefits of remembering to put smiles to countless number of the poor in our midst.

Bless someone today and be blessed in return! Amen!!!
